Im in a really tight spot in that i'm a college student with an MIP im not guilty of yet I can't afford an attorney. I was convicted of a DWI in Arkansas last August and then I was given an MIP here in Texas in February. I was ordered to take a class for the DWI and lost my license for 6 months. I haven't gotten my license back yet because I haven't taken the class. Even though i'm not guilty, I dont see any way I can fight this. If I plead guilty or possibly no contest and pay the fine, take the class, whatever, will my license be suspended further for the MIP and will the MIP affect the DWI suspension? Thanks
