Texas Criminal Harassement (mailed ex old pics) Detective calling me

I sent by snail (postal) mail TO my ex (more than once) photos of us and our families as I have come across the extras. His 1st ex and I have been in touch and she says that he has had to have his numbers changed because someone is calling (NOT ME) and hanging up! She lives in Mississippi.
Anyway, I now have a local Detective calling me. Should I seek counsel BEFORE talking w/ the detective? Should I wait for the detective to send me something by mail? I have done nothing wrong but I don't want to implicate myself by saying the wrong thing out of being nervous! Should I go see if a police report is there and get a copy first?

If they are receiving annoying calls in the middle of the night, perhaps you are a logical suspect. If there is a court order preventing contact, then your mailing pictures could be a violation of the order. Only you know if you are guilty of these crimes.

In any event, it might be best to consult with an attorney before talking to a detective.
