   hi,
   
   I'm on J1 visa, which is going to expire in one month. I'm married to a Canadian citizen on TN. i'm not a Canadian citizen, but polish. I would like to apply for TD status. Do I have to go to Canada in order to do it? or can I just apply on a border or airport? what documents do I need ?
