I received a DWI in Feb. 2006. My lawyer and I agreed to a suspended imposition of sentence on it where I had 2 years probation and if no tickets in that 2 year span it would be dropped as if it never happened. Now in October 7 months after my probation period was over I applied for a job that they told me they cant hire me for because I had a DWi. I settled for a S.I.S. because they said after the 2 year probation period it would be as if it never happened. If that is the case I would have no problems getting this job but apparently there are some problems with my case. Does anyone have any information that could help me?
