I LIVE IN THE STATE OF WA.
If I receive a supeona form the state of NV. to be a witness in a insurance case and I live in WA., do I have to show up ? if I don't what can happen since I live in another state. Since this is a legal case, can my job fire me for going there, if I give them a copy of the supeona.
Thank You....

No, they cannot make you appear if it is a state court. Normally the person that wants you will pay all of your expenses including lost wages. How your employer feels about it is up to him and you won't know until you ask.

The problem is that you may go and the case will be put off for one reason or another.
