I was asked to give a deposition on a medical case regarding a patient I saw back in 1997. This case was filed in state court regarding a manufacturer of a drug. I have no memory dating back that far and currently do not live in the state of TX. I don't want to get involved in this legal matter and the attorney states they are willing to supeona me if needed.

What are the chances they will be able to supeona me when I live out of state?
What are the statute of limitations on medical cases?
Do I have to give any deposition? I really see no utility in my input.
What is the process in obtaining a supeona?
    Thank you.
