Greetings,
I received a summons to appear in court on an old promissory note. The information contained in the summons could only have been known by someone running my credit report because it shows aka's on the summons due to name mispelling error on my credit file. The promissory note is person to person contract with no business involved.
1)Can this person or their attorney run my credit report without my permission?
2) The summons contains many errors, the defendants are listed as a married couple, (my name and jane doe is listed on the summons) yet I am not married, nor have a girlfriend and have been divorced for 20 yrs.
3)Is this summons even valid if it contains over ten errors?
