Hi,
I had outstanding medical bills which were partially paid by my insurance company. I was being charged the full amount again. The attorney filed for summary judgment. I mailed in my respone arguing that the summary judgment is invalid as the claim is for the incorrect amount. Per the notice, I had 10 days to submit my response. It arrived at the court office on the 10th day, however they are stating that the matter was reviewed earlier that day, before receipt of my response. I now have this judgment reporting on my credit. Is there anything I can do? I never received anything in the mail either, I called in and found out that my response was not reviewed. This all occured about 1.5 months ago. It just hit my credit. Please help.
