Sued by Hospital

Last year I went into the hospital; I found out AFTER I was released that it was out of network and not covered by insurance. I was drowning so I contacted a debt consolidation company and paid them $300 a month to handle my debt. They never gave the hospital the money I asked them to and now I'm being sued. Right now I am the sole breadwinner and have no extra money; in fact, I don't know how I'm going to maintain my mortgage until my husband's garnishment stops. Can they garnish my wages? What happens if I have no money to pay them? Should I file bankruptcy? I can't even afford that, though (I checked) I am intimidated and clueless. Please forgive me if I've not posted correctly; this is my first time.

Contact a bankruptcy attorney and look into filing a chapter 13-- call around to get different prices—the collectors will not stop, it sounds like they already have a judgment -- Yes they can garnish your wages they can garnish your bank accounts and put a lien on your house--
