In Year 2000 I have signed a student loan as a co borrower for my friend's wife.
My friend dies in 9/11/2001 plane crash.
His wife commits suicide in October 2001.
She mentions to repay her student loan in a note to her family.
The estate adminstrator and the family ignores the loan even though they have enough funds.
The student loan becomes due Jan 2004.
The loan company is trying to recover the loan amount from me.
What should I do?
