stopped payment on tenant check

Hello, My tenant paid me $900 in a check. He stopped payment and then moved out. Can I press FELONY charges?

You can certainly call the police. You can press charges but it will be the DA who ultimately files the charges, if any.

You can also sue the tenant in small claims.
