Step Child entitled to proceeds from house sale that was jointly owned?

Here is the scenario. Mom and Step Dad (no will) Mom passes away, house goes to Step Dad(jointly owned). Step Dad passes away house is sold and goes to his estate. As the step child do I have any legal right as a beneficiary of the sale of the house (since the house was jointly owned with my Mom) or will the estate be divided by his children?
