I had an incident against me 2.5 yrs ago involving slander against me and emotional and mental abuse toward my son. Does my statute of limitations get extended since I was deemed incompetent?

I don't know for sure about your state, but would expect your time expired after one year. If you were found incompetent for some reason you could have used legal counsel.
