statue of limitation

The question doesn't make any sense.

You can be evicted at any time you breach your lease or rental agreement, at the expiration of your lease or rental agreement or, if you are on month-to-month (tenant at will), at any time, with proper notice, for any reason or no reason as long as it doesn't violate any anti discrimination laws.

You might get a better answer if you explained what's happening to you.

^ right.
If you are wondering what the statuTe of limitations is for them to collect rent passed due, it looks like it is 6 years for TN.

A statute of limitation is the time limit for filing a lawsuit as long as it's within the time limit.

If a lawsuit is filed after the SOL expires, the defendant must raise the SOL as an affirmative defense in order to get the lawsuit dismissed.

If he doesn't he loses the benefit of the SOL, the creditor could win and pursue collections.

Without a lawsuit there is no time limit on attempts to collect a debt as long as those attempts don't violate the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
