my wifes medical bills were posted on my credit report by a collection agency, the collection says that even though COLORADO is a common law state, that utilities and medical bills are still the responsibilitis of the spouce. in the forum i found a thread relating to this that says its true according to the "doctrine of necessities" or "doctrine of necessaries" of the state. does colorado have such a doctrine? and how can it be found in the state statutes? thank you
