I got pulled over in November 2006 for going 64 in a 45 mph zone. The officer worte that I was going 50 in a 45 mph zone on the ticket. I dont have a problem with that or anything. But, I just started a new career as an EMT and cannot have 2 more points on my license without getting fired. The last time I was pulled over was in 2005 which was a 1 1/2 years ago. I am going to court in January 2007 and was going to ask the judge if I could take a driver improvement class instead of the points. This will be my first time going to court for anything. I was wo ndering what I should expect and if I should talk to the cop before court starts?

It just depends on whether your state accepts traffic school and the particular court, judge and officer. Call the clerk and ask.
