I was stopped because of driving 35 mph in a school zone (20 mph). The actual speed limit is 40 mph but when school is in session it is 20 mph.
This is my first traffic violation. I did not have any tickets before and have been driving for 10 years clean (I am 35 years old). I am going to court in 3 weeks.

What should I expect in court? Should I say I am guilty or not?
What are my chances either way?
Is there a possibility for my license to be suspended? or is it just a fine?

It is a fine, but a very expensive fine.
Call the court clerk and learn just how expensive.
These types if citations are rarely beaten.
That said, speak to a couple of local traffic attorney's and ask them how one should proceed.
