Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication smoking marijauna during pregnancy

I know someone who is smoking marijauna during pregnany,and My question is...could that person face charges for smoking while pregnant? Or could social services take away the kid as soon as it is born?

If anyone could help me out with this i would appreciate it.

It is difficult to say what child services will do, if anything. You will know better by contacting them yourself and finding out what recommended actions they suggest. You are dealing with a person who is smoking while pregnant so there is no child to take away at the current time.
