Small Deposits to Paypal Acct From Scammers

Someone has been making a lot of $.99 donations to me (over 100, to my Paypal acct). It's obvious they aren't real people, because none of the names have anything to do with the email address. I've heard criminals will do this to test if a credit card is good before making a larger purchase. By accepting this donation, am I breaking the law? Can I be sued? Thanks

I can't conceive of any law that you might be violating in what you described.

Anyone can be sued by anyone for anything.
