we are a nfp org in ny state and hold sanctioned xc ski races. a skier fell and broke his leg. He is asking for a refund of his entry fee and I am trying to come up with a letter which will include verbage to release our organization of liability in lieu of refunding his entry fee. Can anyone help?

I am not sure what all your acronyms mean, but I think you want some kind of release of liability.

You should hire a lawyer for this.

You must also realize that such a release will not stop him from suing you.
