I want to form a nonprofit to advance scientific ideas, but it will only have one member (me) for a while. I live in california. the nonprofit will be my primary source of income and may retain +$200k in its account at years end. 80% of the profits/grants will go to building out its mission over the next year or so and ill take a modest salary.
I understand single board nonprofits work in delaware. i know i will owe fees and be subject to california regulations.
