I am a consultant that has beena contractor for a private company. The company has signed a contract with me for consultant services for the year 2006. One of the partners in the company is trying to get out of being responsible for payment based on personal and business problems between 2 owners. One of the partners uses the ploy to not pay me if he is angry at the other partner.

What are my options moving forward with this company?

That would depend on the terms of your contract. Please quote the stipulations regarding breach, termination, etc., so that we have a better understanding of those terms.
