I made a post a few months ago in regard to an individual running a small business at their home. As indicated, we have had numerous troubles with this individual stemming from a privacy fence installed.
After the fence was installed, we started getting dirty looks, heckling, etc. from this individual's clients. We did contact a sheriff's officer who told us that we'd have to file a report against the "client" separately, even though the behavior was instigated by the owner of the business. Is this true? Doesn't the owner of the business hold any accountability for their client's behavior?
This is my next question. As previously stated, members of the forum have told me that hiring a lawyer is necessary in order to have a case. However, this person knows how to "play the game" and is very cozy with the sheriffs department who at one time, spent three hours at this person's residence. My question is would videotaped evidence help with the case? In regard to their behavior and that of their clients? It seems like otherwise, its our word against their's.
