hi, is it possible to get caught if the sensors ring and i start running when the person see's me? probably was caught on cctv and they didnt get any id other than my appearance.

Yes there are numerous ways. It would be in your best interest not to return to that store

. Eye witiness who knows you
. License plate
. You return to store and security recognizes you
. Your picture is shown to others and info leads them to you

Its likely (if they are aware of the theft) to use whatever means they have to get the thief and/or their merchandise back
