Shoplifting. First time offense what will happen at court ?

I would like to know what I can expect at court. It's my first offense ever, and need some help. I have a lot of questions and I'm kind of scared since I'm only 18.

You need to talk to a lawyer & only to the lawyer. The lawyer will go over your options with you & answer questions that you have.

Its not what will happen but what you can make happen. As instructed talk to a Lawyer he/she can tell you what your options are. During your talk ask about ACD or Diversion as plea options

I can understand you being scared. You should consider retaining an attorney because they can help you with a diversion program - which means it's a way for you to avoid having this one time crime being a serious problem for you.
