I was arrested for shoplifting for $40.00 worth last 3 years ago. Now, I want to apply for the green card. How will it affect on my green card application? Was it recorded or it is erased after 3 years!!
 
You were arrested for a CIMT. A CIMT is a bar to admission unless it falls under the petty offense provision.
