So I got in trouble shop lifting A shirt I got my paper to pay $225 from the place I tried to take the shirt from. I am goin to fredrick county courts. Do I have to pay a fee for just showing up in court?? I am 18 if that matters. Please let me know. Thank you

The $225.00 was a civil fine and unrelated to any court fines. One is criminal the other civil. If found guilty, or you plead guilty or enter into plea bargain there will be a court fine

Agree. The $225.00 is a civil demand "fine" payable to the store. It's separate from any court fine.
