Yeah, I hate it when people say I owe them money but refuse to show me proof.

So, I explain it to them why I need proof before I pay, then they show the proof, then I pay.

People are cool and work with you to get their money.

Did he say for what expenses? Insist on a bill with items noted & cost before paying.
