I did not know where to put this and I am no legal beagle by any means. Here is my problem:
About a month ago, I went to a dealer and put $1500 down on a truck he had and i wanted. He did not let me take the truck then because he said he did not have the title yet. We both signed a hand written agreement acknowledging him taking my money for the truck. I figured that would be worth something. Well, it is almost a month after I gave him my money and he still does not have the title for the vehicle and has not released the truck to me yet. I am going down there today and tell him he has 2 options, #1 let me take the truck or #2 give my money back.
Given the shady fellow he seems to be, if he does not let me take the truck, I seriously doubt almost a month later, he has my money. Can I get some advice on what to do here and what my legal options are? Ty.
