Settle Time Limits

I have an auto accident lawsuit pending for 2 years in TN. I have requested my attorney to "settle" the suit 6 weeks ago. If there a reasonable time limit to hear from my attorney regarding this matter?

It takes time for the company you are trying to settle the suit with to review and make a decision regarding the proposal your attorney has made to them. Stay on top of your lawyer so you can see what they are proposing but at the same time, be patient. Good Luck!
