Seller sueing requesting more ernest money from buyer

So I recently backed out of a deal to buy a condo. The agreement was for a closing date of or before October 31st. I put $500 for ernest money which she has cashed already. She is trying to sue for $300 more for damages and cost of her mortgage payments and bills. I cancelled the deal well before the closing date was suppose to occur. Does she have any legal standing on this?
