I got married to my Mexican boyfriend in 1999 and the green card never came through ( he was deported for a paper work problem ). We tried for over 2 years to sort everything out but he got a 10 year ban. We got divorced in 2006. I couldn't live in Mexico.
What I want to know is, can I marry my boyfriend ( English ) and petition for a green card for him now? I heard that there is a waiting period but I don't know how long that is.
