roommate hadn't paid after sued by landlord

I was taken to small claims court with my 2 roommates for around 6 grand. Me and one if my roommates paid our portion but since our other roommate still hasn't my credit score continues to go down until its paid.
What do I do? I can't afford to pay for it and if I did I would never see that money from him.

The judgment alone will ruin your credit score. You could pay it, but that won't improve the credit score, and you'll have big trouble renting a decent apartment for a decade. Bankruptcy might help a little bit, really there's not much wiggle room for you.
