Roomate Headache

I have a roomate. well an ex-girlfriend. we sepperated and i would like her to move out in at the end of july so i have time to either find a new roomate or new apartment. The reason we are seperated is becasue she got drunk one night (she's 19) and decided to backhand me and she got a domestic against her. well anyways she is threatning to sue me and to get her name off the lease now, even tho we both signed on the lease and the lease doesnt end till Sept. but i agreed to take her name off the lease at the end of july. But her wantin to leave now and make me pay full rent would leave me in a bit of a bind money wise. is there anything i could do if she stops payin rent and tries to sue me to get herself off the lease?
