When I was much younger (about 20)-27 now, I bought a boxtruck from Ford Motors. I tok out a loan and the total with interest was a little over $30,000. This was in Omaha, NE. My brother and I used it to start a business and it was under my name DBA the company name. Well I wasn't able to pay the payments a couple months so the truck was repo'd. They ended up auctioning it for very cheap. I guess that was because the would just sue me for the rest. I'm not making much money now either, but all of a sudden they have a judgement on me for over $20,000. How can they do this? This is like me going to a rent to own place for furniture and not being able to pay for it. Then they sell that furniture to someone else and alo harge me. Makes no sense. How can I keep them from taking my only 2 possessions (69 stang and 99 civic)?
