Are you making payments? If their is a mortgage on the property it doesn't matter who the lien holder is, if you do not make the payment they can begin foreclosure proceedings.
It does not matter if you are on SS and a small pension...if you are not making the payments you are defaulting on the mortgage note you signed when you bought the house. Sorry.
