Refund without a cancelation policy

I plan to cancel a service I pay for with my credit card because the service was misrepresented by the owner. I was not given the cancelation policy nor one even exists. The owner refused a refund. What is my best course of action? Should I file a credit card dispute?

That's up to you. Just understand that, if the credit card company reverses the charge, it does not mean that you don't owe the money.

Depending on your contract with the service, you could be sued or sent to collections.
