If I were a cop and I received a tip from an anonymous person, would this constitute a reasonable search?

Your user name is LAWstudent101. I am wondering if this is homework. I'm rather new on this forum but other forums I am on we don't do homework. If it isn't homework, I am sorry for assuming so.
I would say the source would have to be a "reliable" source ..... (I believe we have a couple of police officers on the forum, they can probably tell you more.)

You don't give enough information to answer accurately, but the answer is most likely no.
Your reliable informant might be able to support probable cause for a warrant though.
