My case was dismissed on lack of evidence. I got a letter in the mail stating they were re-opening my case. Does this include the co-defendent? I have not broken the law since the pre-trial dismissal. Co-defendant had been sent to a re-hab in leiu of going to jail because of a dirty test during a routine parole visit. I have not seeen this person since then. Could this be why they re-opened? What happens if the co-defendant does not show up? Can they charge me with the same crime? Will I have get a bailsbondman again? I am still paying off the old one. What does the charge of transportation of drugs (the new charge)usually carry?
