Raffles and Drawings

I am trying to find out what the laws in South Carolina are concerning raffles and drawings. We want to have a drawing to raise money to help fund adding an extension to our pier it is privately owned. the amount of money we need to raise wiil be a fourt of what we need. Any help or ideas on where I can find this information would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I'm not sure about laws in South Carolina and didn't seem to see any but I'm not a SC lawyer. Perhaps someone else here is. Some states have laws that restrict raffles to certain types of organizations such as religious, not for profit, etc.
