I am a resident of Kentucky and I am considering getting my criminal record expunged for employment purposes. In 1996 I was arrested in McCracken County and was offered a plea bargin of misdemeanor assult, resisting, and public intoxication. I took the deal and plead guilty. I served no jail time and was placed on unsupervised probation for 2 years. Then in 2001, I was charged with another public intoxication in Calloway County. I never saw a judge in this case. I simply paid my fine the next day. Is it possible for me to get my record expunged? If so, how sould I go about doing it? Should I start with the most recent, or file in both counties at the same time? Thank you for your time.
