Criminal Law question re 18 months for misdemeanors

What can be done to avoid deportation on someone that has pled to 3 misdemeanors w/ sentences running consecutively so that it is 18 months? Thanks.

Depends on what the convictions were for and what the immigration status was.

If the person has been legally in the country and the convictions were for crimes of moral turpitude probably nothing can be done.
