Accident occured around 1999, US, NY. My boyfriend was in a fight with a resident of his apartment building. There is a pending lawsuit for the 1999 accident (he is plaintiff). Yesterday (3/27/06) there was another altercation on the subway, when a rider punched my boyfriend. Would filing a police report for this new situation have any negative bearing on his current lawsuit?
