Harassment, Stalking, Misconduct Public Urination in NY

I recently received a public urination ticket in NY. This is my first offense of any kind. I was wondering how much the ticket would cost, and whether this will go on my permanent record? Any advice would be very very helpful.

Were you drinking? In that case it may go as "Drunk and Disorderly - Public Urination." Otherwise, disorderly conduct. Either way, as silly as it is, you should probably fight it. Not a fun thing to have on your record. Not to scare you, but in some state's they actually consider it a sex crime (due to the obvious exposure).
