Providing Alcohol to Minor

I was recently written a ticket for buying my fiance a beer. The code on my ticket is BP25658(q). My friend told me that I will have to pay a fine and possibly do community service. My fiance on the other hand will most likely get his license taken away for a year and have to take alcohol classes. His friend was also given a ticket for drinking but he was spitting his chew into a empty beer can. They didn't breathilize them so they didn't even know if he was drinking. So I actually got charged for both of them. I just want to know the maxiumum punishment for this. I defiantly don't want to go to jail.
Any information or advice would be greatly appriciated as soon as possible.

You might want to read this general information re code BP25658. Did you maybe mean (g)?
g -(g) The penalties imposed by this section do not preclude
prosecution or the imposition of penalties under any other provision
of law, including, but not limited to, Section 272 of the Penal Code
and Section 13202.5 of the Vehicle Code.
