Okay so I'm on probation and I was at a park with a friend who was drinking and it was after hours so a officer came to question us no arrest where made an when he ran my name he didn't mention me being on probation my question is does he file a police report and what goes on there like the open container?? I told him that I had taken a few sips and does this contact go to my po and should I tell her about it or should I just say I got questioned and not mention the beer since I was let go

Very often simply having the police do a file check on your name will notify probation, so yes, you should report it.

After you tell your PO the TRUTH, I suggest you carefully and thoroughly READ the terms of your probation and OBEY those terms to the letter.

You never know when you will be caught in a violation. It'll happen when you least expect it (like that night in the park) and once it happens there are no do-overs.
