I was wondering if there is any type of case in my situation.
I went to a car dealership on black friday and purchased a new ford fusion. While at the dealership I was asked if they could take a picture of myself and my husband with our new vehicle. I declined, and they took the photo anyways. Then yesterday (12/28/2014), I began receiving multiple phone calls on our cell phones asking about our car for sale on craigslist (we do not have a car for sale). When we looked on craigslist we found an ad for our vehicle for sale with our phone numbers, address, and the same photo that was taken by the dealership. I want to note that no one else has this photo except the dealership. When I went to the dealership, they blew me off. Their IT department did confirm that it appeared to be an internal issue, but the dealership manager would not discuss the situation further. I am not necessarily expecting a financial gain, but do want to have justice for the person who has given out my personal information and photos of my husband and I.
