My girlfriend signed a § 490 STATUTORY POWER OF ATTORNEY and we need to know if this gives me the authority to represent her in divorce court?

No, it does not. She can represent herself or she can hire a licensed attorney. But unless you are licensed to practice law, you cannot represent anyone in court except yourself, no matter what forms they sign.

Agreed. A POA does not actually give one the literal power to act as an attorney for someone else.
