We are couple that are newly employed, with a signed and notorized 2 year contract, in the state of Colorado.
Our employer now wants to possibly terminate us due to a personal matter, that we have been told he cannot do, (by federal law).
We have had no complaints, have completed our jobs, and had absolutely no problems before this private incident.
What I am asking is if they decide to terminate us, can we hold them to the contract and make them pay us for the remainder of the contract? And would they have to do so upon termination?
