I am new to the forum but have a specific challenge- hoping you can help
Facts:
Married
I (not my husband) filed a personal chapter 7 Bankruptcy almost 2 yrs ago. He has never been associated with my credit in any way (separate bank accts etc.)
We have a service based business and are trying to "organize and structure" but we do not know the best way to incorporate so that my bankruptcy does not negatively affect his credit or the business credit.
Second problem- he is a permanent resident with SS # but can't seem to get credit because he has no credit history in the US (only in the UK). When he applies the response is the same "no credit history".
In light of this situation, we are running the business on a cash basis which is killing us!
I feel that I have exhausted many resources and still do know what to do- Please help!!
